9:30am – Connections Hour 10:30am – Worship Service
Northminster’s weekly worship services are a celebration of God’s grace, a time of hearing God’s word, and an experience of being a part of a faith community. Check the Calendar for other special service times and events! The Events Page provides a description (and times/dates) of scheduled events.
FAQs About Worship Service
What are the worship services like?
You’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with great music, prayer, readings, and a practical, relevant message. Bulletins are handed out as you enter the sanctuary to guide you through the service and help you make the most of each week’s message. Hymnals are in the pews; song numbers are in the bulletin. The youngest children are well-cared for in a loving nursery.
What time is service and what do people wear?
Worship service is Sunday morning at 10:30am. You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because is not about what you wear or look like.
What if I’m not perfect?
Great! You’re just like the rest of us, you’ll fit right in with everyone else!
How can I be a part of the service (e.g., choir, usher, handbells, readings, etc.)?
We encourage you to participate and share your talents during the service. If you prefer, participate completely behind the scenes. Let the spirit lead you to where you are drawn and fell comfortable.
How can I learn and grow?
You are invited to attend our “Connections” hour (9:30am) where you’ll find people engaged discussions and working together to serve others through our church mission. Connection time is a great way to build on one another’s passions, enjoy fellowship and strengthen relationships. Classes on various topics are also offered during this time.
Where is the nursery?
The nursery is on the lower level, look for signs and take the elevator or stairs.
